After a promising rookie campaign with the Baltimore Ravens in 1997, Super Bowl champion linebacker Jamie Sharper continued his strong play in 1998, starting all 16 games for the team.
This 1998 purple Baltimore Ravens home jersey features Sharper’s signature on the right “5” on the back of his number “55” jersey in bold, blue Sharpie. Sharper’s number “55” appears on the front, back and both shoulders of the jersey in white-and-gold on black tackle twill. “SHARPER” appears across the back in white tackle twill on a purple name plate. Both sleeves of the jersey feature stitched Starter logos and Ravens logo patches. The front collar of the jersey features the NFL logo, while “RAVENS” is stitched below in white with a black background. The front tail features a “STARTER PRO LINE AUTHENTIC” manufacturer’s tag with two white affixed tags that read “50” and “LONG,” indicating the jersey’s size and size modifications. A white strip to the left of the manufacturer’s tag reads “98,” indicating the jersey’s year. The signature comes with PSA/DNA certification number “U77459” and the jersey comes with an LOA from Jamie Sharper.
