The Cincinnati Bengals found their quarterback of the future in Andy Dalton, who is one of two QBs (Peyton Manning) to throw for at least 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns each of his first three years in the league. This game used white Andy Dalton road jersey from a 22-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 31, 2013 comes from a contest with a very unusual ending. Dalton was wearing this jersey when Miami defensive end Cameron Wake sacked him in the end zone for a safety in overtime. The heavily soiled jersey features “DALTON” across the back in white-on-black tackle twill on an orange name plate. Dalton’s number “14” appears on the front and back in black-on-orange tackle twill, while the shoulders boast “14” in white-on-black tackle twill with the black tiger stripes design and stitched white Nike swoosh logos. The right chest of the jersey features a stitched captain patch with two gold stars and a stitched “B” Bengals logo in the center above Dalton’s number “14.” The inside collar of the jersey features a “Nike” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and an affixed black tag that reads “2013” for the jersey’s year. The jersey features heavy signs of game use, including large areas of grass staining on the back. Andy Dalton was the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October 2013 when he wore this jersey, throwing for over 1500 yards and 11 touchdowns. The jersey comes with an official tag that reads “Found Only At BENGALS PRO SHOP” with “10/31/13 Miami Dolphins” written in blue ink on the tag. The jersey also comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
