The 1925 Washington Senators entered their second straight World Series, and generated a commanding 3-1 series lead. However, they became the first team to lose a World Series after taking a 3-1 advantage in the Fall Classic. This OAL Ban Johnson baseball has blue and red stitching and is signed by 24 members of that American League title team. This ball exhibits vibrant trademark stampings, while a coat of period shellac covers black-ink signatures, averaging (“4-5”) strength, with a few better. Includes: Goose Goslin and Walter Johnson (sweet spot) - both grading ("4-5"), Firpo Marberry, Tom Zachary, Buddy Myer, Nate Leibold, Stuffy Stewart, Alex Ferguson, Bob Veach, Ossie Bluege, Everett Scott, Al Schacht, Joe Judge, Roger Peckinpaugh, "Bucky Harris ("3"), "Sam" Rice ("4"), H. Ruel, Win Ballou, Tex Jeanes, Allen Russell, Dutch Ruether, Earl McNeely and two others. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
