Offered is a 14" Honus Wagner mini-decal bat, which is by and large the finest mini decal bat we have ever held. While most decal bats have the H&B brand in the middle with the decal exclusively on the barrel, this bat is without the center brand. However, it contains an extremely large, six inch decal of the Flying Dutchman, literally taking over the entire barrel and some of the upper handle. Absolutely HIGH GRADE and all original, the decal is 98% complete. This bat originated as part of a traveling salesman sample kit. To stimulate retailers to stock such unusual merchandise, sporting goods wholesalers had to generate interest. As standard-sized decal bats were difficult to transport from store to store, Hillerich & Bradsby created more portable samples in miniature. Original felt individual carrying case included. One of the nicest decal bats we have ever handled.
