During Kennedy’s term as President, he supported the Civil Rights Movement, the Apollo Space Program, went to battle against the war on communism, the Cuban Missile crisis, and Fidel Castro.  During his time in the White house, he was groomed by the soon to be renown White House Barber, Steven Martini. During his haircuts, Martini collected some of John’s famous dirty blonde hair.  Throughout the history of the World, hair was one of the first collectable items from famed individuals and was more collectable than even a signature of them. This lot contains a small lock of Kennedy’s hair in a custom vial. The lock of hair is truly a unique piece of American History and one of, if not the most well documented lock of John F. Kennedy’s Hair in existence. The hair is accompanied by a hand signed and notarized certificate from Steve Martini Jr, son of the famed Barber and comes directly to us from his personal collection.
