Offered here is a New York Mets all blue cap worn by former Mets’ manager Bobby Valentine during the 2001 season. Valentine managed the Mets from 1996 until 2002, leading the team to the National League pennant in 2000. This New Era size 7 1/8 wool cap has the Mets interlocking “NY” embroidered on the front in orange stitching. The underside of the brim is gray and has Valentine’s number “2” handwritten in black marker. The white inside sweatband has the Diamond Collection, New Era and size tags sewn on. The back has the MLB logo embroidered in Mets’ colors. This cap displays moderate use with dirt prints on the underside brim and Valentine has signed this hat in silver marker on the top brim. This cap comes with a LOA from J.T. Sports (1313) for the game use and a COA from JSA for Valentine’s signature.
