For the 14th season in a row, Hall of Famer and baseball’s Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. was selected for the All-Star Game. In 1996, Major League’s best players gathered in Philadelphia at Veterans Stadium where the National League defeated the American League 6-0 in front of a capacity crowd of 62,670. As part of making the All-Star team, Ripken was presented with this swag bag that has 1996 All-Star themed items. All of the contents are stored in this blue 22-inch long duffle bag with a zipper top and two top handles. The All-Star Game logo and images of a large baseball and a left-handed batter in white are on the sides. The back ends have the All-Star Game logos with one end having a white Wilson logo. Items in this bag include 3 white t-shirts, a polo shirt, a program, a towel, two batting gloves, a black hat, a red hat, a mini bat, a red jersey, a red jacket, a red helmet, unopened card packs and blue shorts. This swag bag comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and a signed LOA from Cal will accompany this bag and contents.
