This lot includes batting gloves used and signed by Sammy Sosa, Andruw Jones, Gary Sheffield, Rafael Palmeiro and Kevin Millar, along with one unidentified signature.
Three gloves belonged to Sheffield. They include a matching pair of black-and-white Nike gloves singed in silver Sharpie above the “swoosh” logo on the top. Both have a tag with “SHEFF” written in silver and white on the underside of the wrist. The third is signed by Sheffield in silver Sharpie on the top of the Velcro on the wrist and is a black, blue and red Nike that also features the “SHEFF” tag.
There is a pair of Jones’ gloves, signed in back ink with the inscription “Game used 05” on the top. They are Jordan brand, mostly white with red, black and blue accents. Both gloves have a tag that says “AJ25” in silver and white on the underside of the wrist.
Sosa’s glove is signed in blue ink on the palm with “G.U. 03” written below. It’s an Easton glove personalized for Sosa and in mostly blue and grey with red accents.
Palmeiro’s glove is a black, white and yellow Wilson with the signature in the palm in black Sharpie along with “Game used 2004” written underneath.
Millar’s glove is a white, black and orange Under Armor from his time with the Orioles. It’s signed in black Sharpie on the bottom of the thumb and has a tag that says “One Five” on the underside of the wrist.
The unidentified glove is a red and white Franklin with the signature in blue Sharpie on the top of the hand.
All gloves show evidence of game use, including wear in the palms and in the fingers.
The lot is precertified from PSA as being authentic.
