Cal Ripken, Jr. really got to show he was All-Star material in the 1995 Mid-Summer Classic played at The Ballpark in Arlington. The Orioles star started the game at shortstop and when 2-for-3 at the plate, including a single off Tyler Green in the fifth and another single two innings later off Carlos Perez. Coming directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr., he wore this offered home white button-down Baltimore Orioles jersey during the 1995 All-Star Game played on July 11th, 1995. This size 48 Russell Athletic jersey has “Orioles” and a paraph sewn on across the front in black and orange tackle twill. Ripken’s number “8” is sewn on below in orange and black tackle twill and black piping runs along the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the front left tail and a white patch is sewn on below with a faded black “95” marking. The left sleeve has the Orioles bird logo patch and the right sleeve has the “1995 ALL*STAR GAME” logo patch. The back has “RIPKEN” sewn on in black and orange tackle twill on a matching white nameplate that is above the number “8”, which is also sewn on in black and orange tackle twill. Ripken has signed this jersey and inscribed “1995 ALL STAR GAME” in black marker below the end of the paraph on the front. This jersey displays moderate use and comes with a signed LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr.
