Early 20th Century decal bats are some of the scarcest and most fragile items within this entire hobby. Offered is a very nice example decal bat of Eddie Collins. As one of the early 20th Century’s best all around players, none other than the great Ty Cobb called Collins the greatest player he ever saw. This 22 inch Louisville Slugger Model "25" bat is superb with a nicely burned center brand, a light brownish hue throughout and a bold, colorful decal. The decal measures 4-1/2” with the primary area of Collins' image and the "Louisville Slugger" words exhibiting some light chipping. There are additional light area of chipping through the Collins facsimile signature, and light areas of the edges, however the entire decal remains 90% intact. This is an exceedingly scarce Eddie Collins 22 inch decal bat with rich color and fantastic image, one of the nicer Collins decal bats available.
