Not only one of the best pure sluggers the game has ever seen, Miguel Cabrera also hits for high average and is at home in both the infield and outfield. This Sam bat dates from Cabrera’s 2010 season where he made his fifth All-Star team, batted .328 with 38 homers and led the AL in RBI. While most players would be content to call it a banner year, Cabrera was just warming up for his back-to-back MVP seasons. Cabrera’s SAM MC1 bat shows heavy use and is uncracked. Many ball marks and stitch impressions cover the barrel as do white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat marks, Mota Stick residue and the imprints from a weighted batting donut are evident. The length “34”, weight “32”, date “6 21 10”, model “MC1” and order number “9716” are hand written in black ink on the barrel end. Cabrera’s number “24” and Tigers weight code “#” are written in black marker on both the barrel and knob end of the bat. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
