Designed by noted sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield who helped create the First Air Jordan sneakers in 1984, Hatfield created these sneakers when Jordan retired from basketball to pursue his love of baseball in the hopes Jordan would return to the court.  Jordan would return and enthusiastically wear the sneakers when he returned to the NBA in 1995, breaking the NBA dress code with these sneakers as his teammates wore all-black.  Jordan wore the Air Jordan XI sneakers en route to winning the 1995-1996 NBA Title. The Air Jordan XI sneakers were originally released in 1995-1996 and are the most popular of the Jordan collection and have frequently been re-issued over the past twenty years, often selling out in minutes.

Presented here are a pair of Nike Air Jordan XI retro sneakers signed by the greatest basketball player of all time, Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. The size 13 sneakers feature a black and teal colorway and feature the iconic Nike “JUMPMAN” in teal on the outer upper ankle of each sneaker. A patent leather mudguard on the sneakers give them a more formal look. A tag labeled “JUMPMAN JORDAN” in yellow and teal adorns each tongue. The soles of the shoe feature teal rubber and a transluscent carbon fiber spring plate. Jordan signed the toe box of the right sneaker with a metallic paint pen. The sneakers come in the original 17 x 11 ½  -inch black box adorned with the “JUMPMAN” logo in teal and come with a teal plastic guard labeled “MIKE MADE THEM FLY” over the letters “XI” in teal. The sneakers are in pristine condition and show no signs of use. The box shoes some dents and wear. The signed Jordan XI Retro Sneakers come with an COA from Upper Deck Authentication (ESP 01763).
