Jake Peavy was dealt to the Boston Red Sox in 2013 and helped lead the team to a World Series title. Peavy went 4-1 in 10 starts with Boston in 2013 and started Game 3 of the World Series. This white, button-down game used home 2013 Boston Red Sox jersey features “RED SOX” stitched across the chest and Peavy’s number “44” stitched on the back in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” patch with size 46, while the left sleeve of the jersey features a circular patch that reads “B STRONG,” honoring the Boston Marathon bombing victims of the of April 15, 2013. The back collar of the jersey features an official MLB logo patch and the left side of the jersey boasts a “Majestic COOL BASE” tag. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with MLB Authentication number EK881001, authenticating that this jersey was worn by Peavy when he struck out eight over seven strong innings against the Baltimore Orioles on September 18th at Fenway Park.
