The Sporting News was the premier publication in its day, and annually produced media guides for each sport. This run of NBA Sporting News guides begins with the 1958/59 book, going all the way up through the 1988/89 guide, missing only the 1962.63 guide for completion. Many of the NBA's greatest players appear on the covers including Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Julius Erving, Michael Jordan, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell. Most guides are still in nice condition, but some do have small amounts of writing, and two early ones have loose covers. Excellent group of media guides to keep you up to date on your NBA history. Due to the weight of this lot, shipping costs could be substantial.
