The game of baseball has forever been built around striking the ball with a bat. While the bats are important, everything revolves around the ball. Once the ball is struck, all eyes follow the ball. Young hitters are taught to "keep your eyes on the ball", and umpires are taught not to anticipate where the play might be going, but to "follow the ball." With that, we offer a collection of baseballs produced by a myriad of companies, including a few OAL baseballs. While some boxes have been opened, a few are Mint in Box (MIB), two still have the original paper wrapping surrounding the box, confirming the MIB status. However, all baseballs are completely unused, minimally Near Mint. Grades of boxes in parenthesis. Includes: BALLS - 1) Belknap - MIB "One Major League No. 100 Baseball" printed on original paper seal (NM); 2) Lowe & Campbell - with original paper seal (EX); 3) Wilson A1020 - "Offical League" ball with original seal (EX); 4) J. deBeer and Son - "Official League Ball", opened (VG); 5) Tober - "Official League Ball", opened (EX/MT); 6) Harwood - "Official Baseball", very light stampings (EX/MT); 7) Worth - "Offical League Ball", ball is scraped but unused (EX); 8) Reach - OAL Cronin ball MIB (VG box); 9) Reach - TWO (2) Cronin baseballs, in boxes with lids missing; 10) Rawlings - OAL MacPhail ball with seal on bottom opened. This is a great collection of new baseballs, two with the original paper seals intact.
