Joe Cronin was a Hall of Fame player who also was President of the American League from 1959-1973. This lot consists of THREE unopened Mint in Box (MIB) Reach OAL Joe Cronin baseballs. Three of the same balls, but three distinctly different boxes. Includes: 1) Older Reach box - but also adds "MFD. BY A.G. SPALDING & BROS. CHICOPEE MASS., U.S.A." - Box is Near Mint, but has 3.50 written in black marker on top; 2) Older Reach box - no mfg. printing, grades VG with dark staining on bottom panel; 3) Newer Reach box - grades EX with light dings. Three OAL Cronin baseballs with different exterior boxes, with all new baseballs contained within.
