Mikan. (Interesting article & review of Notre Dame-USC football game with O.J. Simpson); Naismith Memorial HOF Yearbook - Signed by John Wooden (3X's!), who also adds "The very best in my opinion" regarding New York Rens team of 1930s, Hank Luisetti, Andy Phillip, Ben Carnavale, Bob Cousy and Paul Endacott; 4) 1988 NBA Hoop Playoff Program - signed on cover by Bill Sharman. POSTCARDS - 1) Purdue University card signed "John Wooden '32"; 2) 1960 Rome Olympic Postcards - TWO cards with cancelled and dated stamps, sent from Rome on August 8, 1960, each TWICE signed (one each side) by Jerry West, who was starting guard on US Olympic Basketball team that season. Specially made Olympic postcards showing Olympic team entering stadium. Superb items; 3) 1964 Olympic Postcards - FOUR cards signed by Mel Counts, a player on that team. One is cancelled, three are not used. ENVELOPES - 1) Stamp affixed envelope signed by long time Tennessee women's coach Pat Summitt; 2) HOF envelope - signed "George Gervin Ice #44." 3) August 28, 1991 cancelled envelope with Bill Walton image and signature, was day of his HOF induction; John Wooden Business Cards - three "Pyramid of Success" cards signed by John Wooden; 1984 Olympic Postcards - FOUR cards, two signed by Pat Summitt (women's coach) and two signed by Bobby Knight (Men's coach); Basketball Info Card - signed "Best wishes and thanks for asking, AC 'Dutch' Lonborg," who was long time player and coach, inducted in HOF in 1973. This is a tremendous group of basketball signatures (47 total) including two Mikan's, seven John Wooden signatures and many other HOFers.
