Graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS. Hall of Famer, in a hotly pursued Rookie Card appearance. On January 26, 2020, a tragic accident claimed the life of Kobe Bryant. One of the sports world's most adored figures, the Lakers superstar seemed larger-than-life on the court, and his grand accomplishments as father, philanthropist, artist and businessman compounded the universality of the grief that was felt so strongly upon his passing. The offered card stands as a super-premium, top-tier memorial to its subject's greatness and character. The card's BGS condition report: Centering 9.5, Corners 9.5, Edges 9, Surface 9.5 and is the highest graded by BGS. This is one of Kobe Bryant's rarest non-autograph insert cards with odds 1:28,800. It is believed that only 100 cards were made even though it's not numbered. None graded higher and no Beckett 10's. A scarce and visually striking debut-year collectible of the Lakers legend, in shimmering Gem Mint condition.
