This superb display piece, featuring "in action" poses of Jim Palmer, Home Run King Hank Aaron and other stars on its lid, contains 24 crisply preserved, ten-cent wax packs of 1973 Topps baseball cards. The unopened packs contain never-touched cards from the 4th Series, "semi-high number" portion of the issue (#'s 397-528 inclusive) and could include MT copies of #'s 400 Perry, 410 McCovey, 473 Aaron ATL, 474 Ruth ATL and 503 Niekro, as well as many desirable team and subset items. The very scarce box (with its fragile "Hey Kids" front-edge tab still intact) concedes generally mild and routine shelf/storage wear and is protected by securely sealed "Baseball Card Exchange" plastic wrapping (with descriptive BBCE certification label).
