Carlos Santana earned tons of accolades in the minor leagues in 2008 and 2009 before getting behind the plate with the Cleveland Indians in 2010. This Louisville Slugger model “Pro 8C” 33-inch catcher’s mitt was used by Santana during his time with the Double-A Akron Aeros of the Eastern League. The steer hide leather glove features a small religious medallion glued to the outer wrist with “Carlos Santana” stitched in black on the outer thumb. The top of the glove is stained from dirt and pine tar where Santana’s extended finger rested on the outside of the mitt. The inside of the mitt features an added fleece pad for comfort. The wrist strap of the glove features a special stitched logo indicating the mitt features Louisville’s “Bionic hand protection technology.” The mitt comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA and certification number “1G00090.”
