Joe Frazier was a Hall of Fame boxer and Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion in addition to being an Olympic gold medalist in boxing. “Smokin’ Joe” was 32-4-1 with 27 KOs in his career, including a win by unanimous decision over Muhammad Ali in 1971’s “Fight of the Century.” Includes: 1) South Carolina Proclamation - from South Carolina Governor Jim Hughes, recognizing July 21, 2001 as “Joe Frazier Day” in South Carolina. Frazier was being recognized for both his humanitarian work and athletic accomplishments. 2) Name Badge and Ribbon - from “The Boys Club of New York,” naming Frazier as an honored guest at their “29th Annual All Sports Hall of Fame Dinner.” Bade reads “Joe Frazier Honored Guest Boxing Hall of Fame Member.” The red ribbon is affixed to the badge with double-sided tape and says “Boxing Hall of Fame” in gold. It has a dovetail bottom and has been folded across the bottom part of the word “Hall.” 3) Health Insurance Cards - both issued to Frazier. One is from the Screen Actors Guild for the “Premier Choice Plan.” Under “Member Name” it says “SMOKIN” J FRAZIER ” and lists his social security number and the coverage period of “01/01/98 – 06/30/98”. The other card is a Blue Cross Blue Shield “Personal Choice” card with the name “FRAZIER JOSEPH B”. 4) Joe Frazier Business Card - name of “Smokin’ Joe Frazier” business card with a bold, black sharpie signature on the reverse. 5) Report Cards - two report cards of Frazier's son, Derek, from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. First is from grades 1-3, dated 1998-1999 and has Frazier’s signature in black ink. The report card from 2004-2005, Derek’s 7th-grade year, has Frazier’s signature in the “2nd Trimester” line. A very unique lot of items, originating from Joe Frazier's son, Derek. This lot has been Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
