The New England Patriots continued their domination of division rival New York Jets during the December 24th, 2016 game with a 41-3 pounding at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Leading the way was quarterback Tom Brady, who three touchdown passes in the rout. Brady finished the game going 17-for-27 with the 3 touchdowns and 214 passing yards and no interceptions for a QB rating of 124.6. The Patriots improved to 13-2 and would not lose another game as they finished the regular season with a 14-2 record and then defeated the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC playoffs. The Patriots would cap off their season with a historic comeback in Super Bowl XLI in defeating the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.

Offered here is one of the game used footballs thrown by Brady during the December 14th, 2016 game against the Jets. This Wilson football displays outstanding game use with abrasion and white paint marks. The NFL shield is on one panel in gold as was the norm for that season celebrating the NFL’s 100th season. On that same panel is “THE DUKE” and the Wilson logo, along with the facsimile signature of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The panel below has the Patriots logo by the seam and handwritten in silver marker on one tip is “66” and the other tip “85”. Another panel has “NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE” painted in gold and black with “AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE” and “NATIONAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE” on either side of the inflation hole. A blank panel has “114” in silver on the tip. The game used New England Patriots football comes with an LOA from MEARS (317769) and is graded Authentic.
