'04 was a year of milestones for Albert Pujols. After three years of record statistics, the Cardinals gave the slugger a 7-year $100 million dollar contract. And after spending time in the infield and outfield, Pujols finally found his position at first base. He promptly won the Silver Slugger Award for first basemen to add to the ones he won for left fielders and third basemen! The Old Hickory AP5 model bat displays light use and is un-cracked. The barrel has several ball marks and stitch impressions with blue ink transfers. The barrel shows red bat rack paint streaks and a light coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle. The bats' weight "34" is stamped into the barrel and Pujols' number "5" is hand written in black marker on the knob end. Letter of Authenticity (1B05855) from PSA/DNA who have graded this Pujols gamer a GU 7.
