Regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Hall of Fame power hitter Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s home run record of 714 when he hit his 715th home run on April 8, 1974, during the Atlanta Braves game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Braves won the game 7-4. Aaron would finish his career with 755 home runs, a record that would stand for 33 years. Aaron was named the NL MVP in 1957, the same year the Milwaukee Braves won the World Series, Aaron’s sole World Series title. Aaron’s 25 All-Star selections are still an MLB record, and the four-time NL RBI and Home Run leader entered Cooperstown on the first ballot in 1982.
Presented here is an Official National League Leonard S. Coleman baseball signed by legendary home run hitter Hank Aaron. The baseball features “RAWLINGS” stamped in black on the west panel of the baseball. “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER RO-N” is stamped in black on the east panel of the ball. Aaron signed his name on the sweet spot of the baseball with a black ballpoint pen. Aaron’s signature is clear and bold without bleeding and the baseball is still bright white but displays some toning. This comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA09007) for the signature.
