Wayne Gretzky is arguably the greatest hockey player who ever lived and certainly is the sport's greatest goal scorer. He helped lead Team Canada to victory in the 1984 Canada Cup, scoring five goals and accumulating 12 points over the eight games. This 10K gold ring was awarded to Gretzky after this tournament. The face has four small diamonds at the bottom of an oval with "COUPE CANADA CUP" around the oval. One side has "19" and the other has "84" indicating the year. Engraved inside this size 9.75/12 gram ring is "99 Gretzky". Per the Classic Collectibles LOA that accompanies this ring,this is the ring actually presented to the greatest hockey player in history, won during a prestigious tournament. Near Mint condition.
