Presented here is a 11 x 14-inch lobby scene card from the difficult to find “Swing Parade of 1946” motion picture. The film, starring The Three Stooges Moe Howard, Curly Howard, and Larry Fine, features the Stooges as dishwashers who help an aspiring singer played by Gale Storm find love with a nightclub owner played by Phil Regan. 42-year old Curly Howard had suffered a series of strokes before filming, and appears healthy and animated in the film. Curly was credited as “Jerome Howard” in the film credits, the first time in several years he was billed as such. The lobby scene card depicts Curly and Larry looking on as Moe stands next to Gale Storm and Phil Regan while making a kissy face. “MONOGRAM PICTURES PRESENTS SWING PARADE OF 1946” appears in yellow lettering on a red background that features musical notes located on the bottom right corner of the lobby scene card. The scene card features some toning and cornering and is labeled “45/461” on the bottom left corner. The lobby scene card from the extremely rare film “Swing Parade of 1946” perfectly encapsulates the humor of The Three Stooges.
