Chris Davis is one of 27 players to hit 50 home runs in a season. The first baseman joined the illustrious club in the top of the eighth inning of a 10-7 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Davis hit a solo shot off Steve Delabar over the center field fence for his historic round-tripper. He joined Babe Ruth (1921) and Albert Belle (1995) as the only players in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and 40 doubles in a season.
