Hall of Famer. Celtics legend Larry Bird shines on this Panini Eminence “Hall of Fame Autographs” collectible. Bird, a three-time Most Valuable Player, appears primed to embarrass an overmatched defender on this scarce Panini offering. This card celebrates Bird’s 1998 induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, with the former Indiana State star entering Springfield on his first ballot. Gracing the front of the card is a game-worn/used patch and a blazing blue ink signature by Bird. A statement on the card’s back by Panini attests to the authenticity of the signature and game-worn/used material patch, and serves as the item’s COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered “3/3.” The item is encased by Panini, and projects generally uncirculated display quality.
