If there was ever a basketball player that deserved the moniker ‘legend,’ it’s the NBA’s greatest of all-time -- Michael Jordan. The GOAT won six NBA championships, dominated his peers on the court and made his heroics look effortless. And that was with taking a year to try his hand at professional baseball.
Jordan returned to the hardwood and won another three NBA titles and two of his five NBA Most Valuable Player Awards. He also led the league in scoring in his final three seasons with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan sits fifth on the all-time scoring list in the NBA with 32,292 points. A new generation of basketball fans were introduced to His Airness during the popular ESPN documentary The Last Dance that showcased the fabled Chicago Bulls 1997-98 season.
This beautiful card exemplifies Jordan’s intensity with an action photo against the rival New York Knicks. It’s complemented with a flourishing blue-ink signature, creating a pleasing design on this unique collectible. This is a gold parallel to the Legendary Signatures set, and serial numbered “07/25.” The cards were randomly inserted into five-card packs of 2000 Upper Deck Century Legends, making this limited-edition piece hard to find.
