Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter won his fifth and final World Series title during a 2009 season that saw Jeter earn his tenth All-Star selection, his fourth Gold Glove Award, and his fifth Silver Slugger Award. Jeter posted a .334 batting average with 212 hits, 18 home runs, and 66 RBI. Nicknamed “Mr. November” for his clutch postseason play, Jeter posted a .407 average, scoring five runs, recording 11 hits and one RBI during the New York Yankees 2009 World Series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. Jeter was instrumental in Yankees late 90s and early 2000s resurgence and earned five World Series titles while wearing the Yankee pinstripes.
Presented here is a six-button, white with navy pinstripe, five-time Champion, limited-edition number 21 out of 27 New York Yankees stat jersey signed by Hall of Fame Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. The iconic interlocking “NY” Yankees logo appears in navy tackle twill on the chest of the jersey. A Majestic MLB Authentic Collection manufacturing tag with a size “52” flag appears on the jersey’s left front tail. A 2009 Yankee Stadium Inaugural Season patch commemorating the first season in the new Yankee stadium appears in navy, gold, and white on the left sleeve of the jersey. A red, white, and blue MLB logo is affixed to the back collar of the jersey. The number “2” appears in navy tackle twill on the back of the jersey. The jersey is labeled “DEREK JETER ‘Mr. November’ 5-Time Champion 1996 New York 4, Atlanta 2, 1998 New York 4, San Diego 0, 1999 New York 4, NYM 1, and 2009 New York 4, Philadelphia 2 Limited Edition of 27” in gold embroidery on the back of the jersey.
