It was around 1986 that baseball fans began to take notice of the unstoppable work ethic that would come to define Cal Ripken, Jr.'s career. During the period this bat dates to (1986-1988), Ripken won a Silver Slugger and was voted to the All-Star Game every summer by his admirers. This offered two-tone Louisville Slugger F149 model bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball marks and stitch impressions along with white leather ball scuffs, cleat imprints and general barrel scuffing. Ripken’s number “8” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. One of the more attractive bats you'll find from this popular Hall of Famer and this comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24005) for the game use.
