While many players have been credited with revolutionizing the way their respective sport is played, none has done the same with the equipment they use like Michael Jordan has. When Jordan took the court the night of November 17, 1984, he did so wearing his pair of Nike Air Jordan I’s for the first time. No one had ever seen anything like them before. Up until that night basketball shoes were all about comfort and conformity. The majority of players wore the same model and they came in one color: white. Now here was Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls phenom who had already changed the way the game was played, now changed the way players thought of their footwear. The advent of the Air Jordan I ushered in the era of custom sneakers and colorful expression by the players who wore them and for consumers who bought them up with a passion. This ticket was used to gain entry to the November 17, 1984 game at the Chicago Stadium -- the ticket holder surely unaware of the history that was being made. This ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (42843846) and graded Authentic.
