Presented here is a Team Canada jersey signed by “The Magnificent One” Mario Lemieux. Lemieux played all 17 seasons of his NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins and led the team to two consecutive Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992. Assuming ownership of the Penguins in 1999, the Penguins won three Stanley Cup championships in 2009, 2016, and 2017 under his tenure as owner. Lemieux is the only person in NHL history to have his name on the cup as both a player and owner. The two-time Conn Smythe Trophy winner and three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner captured his first Olympic Gold when he was captain of Team Canada during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This presented white mesh pullover jersey with red and black stripes on the sleeves and collar features “CANADA” in red tackle twill on the chest of the jersey. The Team Canada logo is located on the jersey’s chest in white, red, silver, and black tackle twill. The number “66” appears on the sleeves and back of the jersey in red-on-black tackle twill. A black Nike “Swoosh” symbol is located on the jersey’s right chest. Two Team Canada patches on the sleeves of the jersey are in red, black, white, and silver tackle twill. A Team Nike size “52” manufacturing tag appears on the inside collar with a Steiner “Hand Designed Sports Memorabilia Collectibles” tag with an accompanying “MADE IN CANADA” flag. A Team Nike retail tag is attached to the Team Nike manufacturing tag on the inside collar. A captain’s “C” appears on the left chest in red-on-black tackle twill.  A black Nike “Swoosh” appears on the back collar of the jersey. “LEMIEUX” appears across the back of the jersey in black tackle twill. Lemieux signed the number “6” on the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature is bold and the jersey is bright white with no visible stains.
