The eye appeal of this piece is absolutely phenomenal, with the Babe’s signature script executed in attractive gray graphite pencil. The original piece measures 1 ½ x 4-inches and is a choice example of Ruth’s much sought-after signature. The cut has been matted and framed to a dimension of 13 x 16 images and features a black and white image of Ruth from his early Boston Red Sox days. Ruth is shown in full swing wearing a gray Red Sox uniform and hat. This piece comes with a LOA from JSA (BB63649) and have graded Ruth’s signature a MINT 9. Please note that this cut was matted and framed following JSA’s authentication and grade. The LOA reflects this piece being a “Signed Cut” and the image on the LOA shows more of the original cut than what is seen on the framed display.
