Hall of Famer Greg Maddux wore this jersey during the 1997 Major League Baseball season where the Atlanta Braves pitcher posted a record of 19-4 with an ERA of 2.20 and earned a National League All-Star selection while helping the Braves earn their third consecutive National League East title. Maddux won four Cy Young Awards during his career and is the only pitcher in Major League Baseball history to win over 15 games for 17 straight seasons.

This presented 1997 Atlanta Braves jersey worn by Maddux during the 1997 season is a seven-button white jersey with navy and red piping and features “BRAVES” in cursive across the chest in red-on-navy tackle twill. The iconic “Tomahawk” is located on the chest in red, yellow, and navy tackle twill. A “Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary” patch commemorating Robinson’s breaking of the color barrier in baseball is located on the right sleeve.  A Prestige Teams Wilson manufacturing tag with a size “44” flag attached is located on the jersey’s left front tail above a white swatch with the embroidered number “9”" in blue below.  “MADDUX” appears across the back of the jersey in navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. The number “31” in red-on-navy tackle twill appears on the back of the jersey. Maddux signed the number “3” in black marker. This game used and signed jersey is bright white with vibrant color and comes with an LOA from noted game used jersey expert William Henderson for the game issue and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature (AA06127).
