This award also features a bust photo of Saberhagen in his Royals’ hat embossed onto a metallic gold colored plate. A pair of gold painted Rawlings baseballs supported by golden tripods flank the glove. The base has a golden plaque engraved with "1989 RAWLINGS GOLD GLOVE AWARD Presented to BRET SABERHAGEN Honoring His Selection “THE FINEST IN THE FIELD!”". A pair of red Rawlings logos complete the plaque. The trophy is in excellent condition, displaying only minor abrasion marks and minimal edge wear. This coveted award still retains its impressive presence, a true icon of sports awards. This comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
