Ichiro Suzuki would relax in this chair before and after games during the 2013 season. This chair was used during the Yankees final home stand of the 2013, and removed on the last game of the season at Yankee stadium. This would be the last game the great Mariano Rivera ever pitched at Yankee Stadium, and he has fittingly signed the back of the seat largely and boldly silver ink. The pristine foldable chair is made from black steel with dark blue leather appointments. The Yankees red-white-blue “hat and bat” insignia adorns the upper headrest, and an embroidered white “31” adorns the lower headrest panel. MLB authentication hologram present EK 810204 which dates the chair Sept 26 2013. An LOA from Steiner Collectibles accompanies this item for the chair, and a separate COA from Steiner for the autograph is included as well.
