“The game has a cleanness. If you do a good job, the numbers say so. You don’t have to ask anyone or play politics. You don’t have to wait for the reviews” said Hall of Fame left-handed Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax. Arguably one of the greatest pitchers in Major League Baseball history to ever step on the mound, the six-time All-Star was the first pitcher to earn three consecutive Cy Young Awards.  The 1963 NL MVP Koufax earned three consecutive Triple Crowns and was a four-time World Series champion, winning the World Series MVP honors twice. Koufax led the MLB in wins three times, and also was the NL ERA leader five times and was a four-time MLB strikeout leader. Koufax, who pitched four no-hitters and one complete game over the course of his 12 seasons playing for the Dodgers, and the age of 36 was the youngest player induced into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Earning induction into Cooperstown in 1972, Koufax’s numbers did the talking for him.

Presented here is a 34 x 38-inch framed Dodgers jersey and cut signed by acclaimed Hall of Fame Pitcher Sandy Koufax. The pristine six-button white Dodgers jersey rests upon a gold matte surrounded by a blue and red trim. Two circular “BROOKLYN DODGERS” patches in navy and white adorn either corner of the frame. “DODGERS” in cursive with a paraph appears in blue tackle twill across the chest of the jersey. The number “32” appears in red tackle twill on the chest of the jersey. An American Flag shield patch is located on the jersey’s left shoulder. A “MAJESTIC” logo is embroidered on the right sleeve in blue. A Majestic “MLB Cooperstown Collection” manufacturing tag labeled “ENGINEERED EXCLUSIVELY FOR MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL” features “Brooklyn” in cursive with a paraph inside the manufacturing tag adorned with the Brooklyn “B” appearing five times on the side of the manufacturing tag in white. A 2 x 3 ½ -inch paper cut located on the bottom of the framed jersey was signed by Koufax with a blue ballpoint pen. The signature is bold and features no elements of bleeding. The framed jersey is pristine. The framed Dodgers jersey and cut signed by Sandy Koufax come with a COA from JSA (T98912).
