Mike Trout followed up his second MVP season with a momentous 2017. During the course of the season, Trout recorded several career milestones - including his 200th career home run, 1,000th career hit and setting the franchise record for walks in consecutive games with 14. Even though injuries kept him to 114 games he still led the team in home runs, stolen bases, walks, batting average and runs. On September 17th, the Angels were hosting the Texas Rangers. In the top of the 8th, Mike Trout led off the inning by pounded a Matt Bush pitch down the deep center field for a solo homer. This would be the 29th of his eventual 33 of the 2017 season – and this is the bat he used to hit it. It was also his 197th career home run.

Trout’s Old Hickory MT27* model bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. The 3-time AL MVP's barrel is covered with ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs, one of which was likely the home run he hit off Bush. The upper handle and trademark have a coat of pine tar and the lower handle has been taped in a spiral pattern of dark gray Lizard Skin to enhance the. The Angels star has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker with “HR #29 vs Tex” and “17 G/U.” This bat comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (4614) for the game use and signature.
