Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant wore these Adidas Crazy 8 shoes during the 1997-98 NBA season, his second year in the Association. Bryant, still only 19, played in 79 games his sophomore season, making the first of his 18 All-Star appearances. The first-round draft pick out of Lower Merion High School averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 26 minutes per game, helping to lead the Lakers to a 61-21 record and a spot in the Western Conference Finals as their sixth man.

These shoes are black with white accents and the Adidas logo sewn on the tongue. A purple and gold Adidas logo is sewn on the back of the heel, and a white Adidas logo is sewn on the outside of the heels. The shoes are a size 14, with Adidas logos located on the top of each tongue and sewn on the toes in white. Bryant has signed each shoe on the outside ankles in black marker on the white portions. These sneakers come with individual LOAs from JSA (BB68704 - Left, BB68705 - Right) and an LOA from MEARS (317777) and are graded Authentic.
