Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA Titles and won the league MVP five times. Upon his retirement from the Bulls, the city of Chicago hung several street banners around the city to honor Jordan for his individual and team accomplishments. This canvas banner measures approximately 30 ½” x 98”. The front side has “1984 – 1998” across the top left, the number 23 colored grey in the middle, a silhouette of Jordan in air, a “Thanks” message, a “MJ” along the bottom third, and the “City of Chicago Richard M. Daley, Mayor” at the bottom. On the reverse side there is a black & white picture of Jordan in uniform holding a basketball with “JORDAN” in bright red running vertically from bottom up on the right side. The bottom third of the reverse side consists of “Thanks Michael! 1984-1998” and “City of Chicago Richard M. Daley, Mayor.” Multiple images and LOAs are available at goldinauctions.com.
