Presented here are a trio of Official American League Lee Mac Phail baseballs signed by three of the greatest players to ever set foot on the baseball diamond, Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, and Mickey Mantle. Vaunted New York Yankees players DiMaggio and Mantle played together during the 1951 season, Mantle’s rookie year and DiMaggio’s last, where the Yankees won the World Series against the New York Giants in six games. Williams, arguably the best hitter in baseball, is the last player in Major League Baseball history to bat over .400 in a season, a feat he accomplished in 1941 with an average of .406. The presented baseballs feature a “RAWLINGS” stamp in blue on the east and west panels of the baseball. “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER RO-A” appears in blue on the east and west panels of the baseball. All three players signed the sweet spot of the baseballs with a blue ballpoint pen. The signatures are bold and the baseballs display elements of toning throughout.
