Chicago White Sox first baseman and designated hitter Jose Abreu wore these batting gloves during the 2015 season that saw the rising slugger and 2014 American League Rookie of the Year continue his ascent towards baseball greatness, batting .290 with 178 hits, 30 home runs, and 101 RBI. The presented size “XXL” black and white leather Mizuno gloves feature plastic “MIZUNO” logos on the back hand of each glove in gold. The number “79” in raised white embroidery appears on the Velcro wrist strap of each glove. “MADE IN INDONESIA” flags and size “XXL” stickers are located on the inside of each glove. A white swatch labeled “DOUBLE LEATHER” in black and white stitching appears on the inside of the wrist strap of each glove. Abreu signed and inscribed “”#79 2015 GAME USED” on the inside palm of each glove with a silver metallic paint pen. The signatures and inscriptions are bold and the gloves display excellent signs of game use featuring dirt on the inside fingers and palms. The game used and signed Mizuno gloves worn by Abreu during the 2015 season come with STICKERS ONLY from Player Direct (2949-right glove, 2950-left glove) and COA’s from JSA (W898804-right glove, W898803-left glove).
