Graded MINT 9 by BGS. An avidly sought-after, very early Pokemon collectible. A true foundation element of the Pokemon specialty, this amazing piece actually pre-dates Pokemon "game" pieces, instead going back to the characters' origins in the "anime" realm. Although highly specialized and difficult to obtain, this blue-backed item features the immediately recognizable Charizard ... then, as now, an icon among Pokemon enthusiasts. (It should be noted that, although this rarity carries a "1995" date, that refers to copyright/trademark status. The card was originally distributed in 1997.) A must-have item for an advanced Pokemon assembly, in pleasing Mint condition.
