Victor Martinez is a four-time All-Star catcher and career .300 hitter who starred for Venezuela in the 2006 World Baseball Classic as the team leader in RBI. This white, button-down 2006 game used Venezuela World Baseball Classic jersey features Victor Martinez’s signature in bold, silver Sharpie on the “4” on the back of his number “41” uniform. “Venezuela” appears across the chest of the jersey with “MARTINEZ” across the back and his number “41” on both sides, all in red-on-yellow tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic ’06 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC” manufacturer’s tag with affixed size “50” tag. The left sleeve of the jersey features a “Maltin Polar” malt beverage advertisement patch with the WBC logo. Venezuela was one of just five teams to wear the advertisement patches for the event. The right sleeve of the jersey features a Venezuelan flag patch while the back collar features a WBC logo patch. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with PSA/DNA authentication number U77529.
