Wonder Bread's 1977 "Star Wars" production (distributed to a far lesser extent than its later, Topps gum card counterpart) featured sixteen high-quality color images from the wildly popular cinematic phenomenon. The cards' attractiveness was accompanied by a liability: the Wonder Bread cards are extremely condition-sensitive, with unforgiving, deep black borders that reveal wear or chipping ... in all but the very finest specimens!
