Former Houston Astros star George Springer used this Warstic WSGS4 model bat during the 2016 season. The former standout at the University of Connecticut led the American League in plate appearances with 744, while batting .261 with 29 home runs and 82 RBI. The Warstic WSGS4 model bat shows outstanding game use with a crack on the handle and top barrel. The barrel displays several prominent ball marks that include white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers. The upper handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the knob has the bat’s specs handwritten in gold pen with Springer’s number “4” handwritten in silver marker on the knob and in black marker on the inside of the cupped barrel end. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19936) for the game use and has been given a high grade of GU 8.5. Please note that the PSA/DNA sticker has been affixed to the LOA and not the bat.
