Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Even though Kobe Bryant’s 1996-97 Topps Finest card features him in the Apprentices subset, Bryant quickly became the teacher. After making his NBA debut as the youngest player in history (18 years, 72 days), Kobe went on to become one of the most celebrated and accomplished players in the NBA. He tallied 33,643 points (fourth all-time), and garnered five NBA championships, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, one NBA MVP award (2008), and a slew of other accolades.
Kobe’s on-court successes and off-court philanthropy have made his collectibles some of the most sought after on the market, including this 1996-97 Topps Finest Refractor parallel of his Rookie Card, graded NM 7 by PSA. The 1996-97 Topps Finest Refractor showcases a high-flying Kobe with his mouth wide open while going in for a dunk. The Finest refractor technology was innovative for its time, bringing a rainbow sheen parallel to modern metallic trading cards.
Bryant will be officially inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in May, a little over a year following his tragic death.
This Kobe Bryant basketball card is a unique collectible and is in near mint condition.
