After dominating every team that was put in front of them, the 1984 USA Olympic basketball team went on to win the Gold when they defeated Spain 96-65 in the Gold Medal game. Coached by Bobby Knight, the Americans went 8-0 defeating its opponents by an average of over 30 points per game. This program dated July 21, 1984 from the Olympic team’s games vs. the NBA all-stars has been signed in red ink by the 12 members of the championship squad. This program features flawless signatures from Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Wayman Tisdale, Sam Perkins, Alvin Robertson, Joe Kleine, Jon Koncak, Leon Wood, Jeff Turner, Steve Alford and Vern Fleming. This was the last amateur USA team to win gold. Program has been authenticated by PSA/DNA and comes with a full letter of authenticity.
