The first ever NBA cards of superstar Michael Jordan were not the well-known established 1986-87 Fleer card, but the Star Company basketball bagged set a few years earlier. Star produced large sets for seasons 1983-84, 1984-85 and 1985-86 as well as small sets covering events and specific players. In 1985-86 Star issued team sets for each team, the final installment being the Chicago Bulls issue with a very young Michael Jordan right on the top. This sealed Bulls team bag has been authenticated and encapsulated by GAI, graded Gem Mint 9.5.
